Saving Raphael Santiago

Saving Raphael Santiago - Sarah Rees Brennan, Cassandra Clare I'm really not a fan of Raphael, but still, this is probably the most touching of the Bane Chronicles so far. Magnus is predictably hysterical and sarcastic (I wouldn't have him any other way) but there are also glimpses of his past and his reminiscences on love, family, and the implications of immortality that are truly astounding. I get more enthralled by this short story series every time I read a new one. If you haven't yet, go read.
