YES. When I found out that these short stories were being written, THIS is exactly what I expected and hoped they would be. Hilarious, touching, heartbreaking, and captivating, and with enough historical significance to the world of TID/TMI that it is worth reading as a companion to both series. Not to mention a certain blue eyed boy's parents meet in this one, which is a scene that could make this priceless all by itself. Even if you read the first two stories in The Bane Chronicles and didn't really enjoy them, or if you skipped those altogether, I cannot possibly express to you just how much I think you should read this. You won't be sorry you did.
