Alright, I know I'm insanely late in getting into The Hobbit and Tolkien in general. I'll admit, I never was all that interested in Tolkien, and it took me a while to want to read The Hobbit. You could say that for years I was missing out. But I don't believe that. In fact, I think I'm the lucky one because I got to enjoy this amazing book for the first time, when a lot of fans have already read it before, maybe even more than once, and have lost the excitement that the first reading of a book brings. Regardless of how long it took me to become a Tolkien fan, I am now a fan for life. The Hobbit is a magnificent book, one that has stood the test of time brilliantly and will remain a classic piece of fantasy literature for centuries to come. It took me a long time to read this book, but lucky for me it's never too late to visit a new literary world.
